I am directed by the Board of Trade to inform

you that on the 9th August 1915 they appointed Messre Annan,

Dexter & Co., Chartered Accountants, of 21 Ironmonger Lane,

4.0. to inspect the books and documents of Westphal, King

& Ramsay Ltd, That Company was incorporated on the 21st February 1908 in the colony of Hong Kong under the "Companies Ordinance 1865", with the nominal capital of £50,000.

The fested capital amounts to £28,270 consisting of £22,440 in Ordinary Shares of £10 each and £5,830 in Preference Shares of £l sach, of that amount £8,940 in Ordinary Shares and £1500 in Preference Shares, making a total of £10,440 is held by Garman Shareholders.

I am to ask you to be good enough to move the Secretary of State to consider whether steps should be taken in Hong Kong to deal with the shares which are held by or on behalf of anamiss,a list of which is enclosed.

I am to add that the Report of the Inspector did not disclosa evidence of any offences having been commit- ted by the Company and the Board of Trade in these circumstances did not think it necessary to appoint a Supervisor of the business.
